Vice-Chancellor Pays Courtesy Visit To KlIF

 The Vice-Chancellor, A-Qalam University Katsina, Prof. Nasir Musa Yauri has paida courtesy call on members of Katsina Islamic Foundation (KIF), to formally introduce himself following his assumption of office. Katsina Islamic Foundation (KIF) is the Proprietor of A-Qalam University with twelve members being chaired by Alh. Bilya Sanda (Khadimul-Hslam).

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by members of the University Management, expressed his appreciation to members of the KIF for endorsing the outcome of the selection process which made it possible for him to be chosen among eight candidates who applied for the post of Vice-Chancellor. Prof. Yauri assured KIF of his commitment to advance the growth of the University in the next five years. He stated;


I wish to sincerely appreciate the KIF, Council and Board of Trustees of the University for the confidence reposed in me to serve as Vice-Chancellor of this University and I see the appointment as a challenge and direct invitation to say, let's see what you can do to uplift the standard of the University" He promised the KIF of his commitment and determination to turn the challenge into a strong passion to serve the University to the best of his ability.

In his remarks, the KIF Chairman, Alh. Bilya Sanda congratulated Prof. Yauri and assured him of full support from members of the KIF in his quest to move the University forward. Alh. Bilya Sanda cautioned that leadership should not be seen as a one man show and therefore, enjoined Management and the University community to support the Vice Chancellor in achieving his vision for the University and prayed to Allah (SWT) to continue to bless and reward all those who have being contributing to its development.
