*STUDENTS OF SMS FORM A FORUM TO ORGANIZE DEBATE/AWARD PRESENTATION AND SMS GRADUATION*
Some students of the faculty of social and management sciences decided to come together to form a forum which will enhance cooperation,build a more cordial relationship and impact knowledge within the faculty.
The forum's creation was a joint venture decided by notable personalities from different departments from Economics was the respectable Muhammad Yunusa Danwata who is the speaker of level 400, sociology had the president of nakss Alfa Muhammad, Accounting there were many in attendance like the level 400 speaker Nasir ibrahim, business was the treasurer Salim Ibrahim among others and political science was represented by Umar lawal Bujawa the current Nakatss president.
The reason for the creation of the forum was to make SMS a competitive and lively faculty and also to bring about educational prowess among the students, the forum has two goals and missions which it wants to accomplish, first is to form a debate/quiz/paper and award presentation. The most interesting fact about the awards is the unique idea of crowning the king and queen of sms, prince and princess of SMS and also other exceptional awards, the second goal is to organize for the first time an SMS graduation where there will be collaboration between five departments of SMS to organize the graduation/award ceremony. This is something that has never been done before and SMS will be the first to make history in Alqalam.
