Professor Shehu Garki Ado has handed over the mantle of leadership of Al-Qalam University to his Deputy, Associate Professor Muhammad Kabir Kado pending appointment of new Vice-Chancellor.
The handing over took place after the University Council Meeting in Abuja on Monday, 27th September, 2021. The University Council commended Professor Shehu Garki Ado for steering the affairs of the University, describing him as a man of integrity.
In his remarks, Professor Shehu Garki Ado thanked members of the University Governing Council for their tremendous support and encouragement throughout his tenure as the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
