Senate Approves Expulsion of Eight Students
The Senate and Management of Al-Qalam University, Katsina has approved the expulsion of eight students having received report of investigation conducted by the Students Disciplinary Committee.
The report established a case against the students of theft of floor tiles at Sardauna Housing Estate and a fight at MD Plaza Male Hostel.
In approving the recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee, the University Senate and Management noted that the offences contravened rules and regulations spelt out in the Students Handbook.
The names of the eight students were given in a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar on Tuesday, 27th April, 2021.
They are Muhammad Lawal Usman, Ibrahim Aminu and Abdulrahman Muhammad Tasi'u from College of Natural and Applied Sciences.
Aslam Mukhtar Sulaiman, Abdulrazaq Abdullahi, Usman Sambo, Bashir Muhammad Abdullahi and Abdulhamid Abubakar Nasir from College of Social and Management Sciences.
