To facilitate attainment of global standard, Al-Qalam University, Katsina has accepted to collaborate with State University of Bangladesh to promote academic and research development.
Receiving representatives of the Bangladesh University on Thursday, 18th March 2021, Vice- Chancellor, Al-Qalam University, Prof. Shehu Garki Ado expressed confidence that the partnership would be of mutual benefit to the two Institutions.
Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Dr. Muhammad Kabir Kado who stood in for the Vice- Chancellor assured the visiting delegation that Al-Qalam University is willing to accept innovations that would facilitate the growth of the University vertically and horizontally.
He appreciated the visit assuring that the draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) which was presented would be closely studied and approved for implementation without delay.
Earlier while presenting the MoU, Senior Executive, International Affairs, State University of Bangladesh, Engr. Usman Muhammad Tomsu explained that there were eight areas spelt out in the draft MoU among them resource sharing, research, blended learning courses and faculty exchange between the two Institutions.
He explained that the MoU is still subject to modifications to include opportunities for collaboration in University promotion and advertisement on global scale utilising experts in web design, programming and saver security. State University Bangladesh is a private University in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, established in 2002 and one of its strength is in Public Health, Nursing and General Pharmacy
