*Prof. Ado Garki appoints new Political Science Head of Department*

The Vice-Chancellor, Al-Qalam University Katsina, Prof. Shehu Garki Ado has appointed a new head for the political science department of the university. He is Dr. Sani Garba Dankama.

The appointment letter dated 15th January, 2020, stated that the appointment  was based on the academic qualification and experience of Dr. Sani G. Dankama. The appointment is for a period of one year.

The Vice-Chancellor urged the newly appointed head of department to protect and raise the academic standards of the department by coordinating, guiding and supervising teaching, examinations and research.

Prof. Shehu G. Ado also called on Dr. Dankama to fear Allah (SWT) in discharging his duties. He also thanked the former head of department, Dr. Hassan Daiyabu Muhammad for looking after the affairs of the department during his sabbatical leave.
