Dear freshers,
We will like to welcome all of you to this blissful citadel of learning called *Alqalam university Katsina* which is the first Islamic university in Nigeria, we say a very *big congratulations to you.*
Gaining an admission to most of you is an opportunity to the path of actualising your dreams and achieving your career goals while to some its and escape from home and escape to freedom.
Don't quote me wrong, freedom is inevitable and is needed by all because nobody want to be told what to do and when to do it for life, its in human nature that we hate rules.
But be rest assured that freedom when misused can be more deadlier than an infectious disease with no cure.
For every step we take in life we took it for a purpose, i know your purpose for being in school is to acquire knowledge that will help you and your entire generation for life.
So set a goal, prepare yourselves, know what you are here for, set your budget , have fun with limit, don't over do yourself and don't settle for less, Be bold enough to confront what ever obstacles you may face,
Be strong for yourselves.
University life gives you the opportunity to discover yourself, discover your abilities and potentials.
In the end I'll urge all of you to utilize your time and the opportunity you get, thousands are at home now missing the chance to be where you are, you are blessed that's why you are here. Don't do something that you'll later regret in years to come.
You're responsible for your actions.
And lastly, everybody in *Alqalam knows that Mathematical science department* is the toughest and most serious among all the departments we have, you don't miss lectures, assignment and test you must read, i guess a visit to the notice board will convince you more when the results are out.
