The students of Al-Qalam University Katsina have elected new officials to run the affairs of States and Departmental Associations.
The election took place peacefully at the University Campus on 12th November, 2022.
The students also elected new officials of the Muslims Students Society of Nigeria(MSSN).
Speaking at the Inauguration of the newly elected officials on Monday, 14th November 2022, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nasir Musa Yauri told the students that leadership is sacrifice and service to the people and not a platform to seek popularity.
While congratulating them on their victory at the elections, Prof. Yauri urged them to work hard to meet the expectations of their teeming supporters to earn their confidence.
The inauguration ceremony which took place at the Lawal Kaita Auditorium was highlighted with taking of oath by the newly elected officials under the supervision of the University’s Legal Officer, Barrister Binta Lawal Kaita.
