The Vice-Chancellor, Al-Qalam University Katsina, Prof. Nasir Musa Yauri has approved four new appointments with immediate effect.
The Department of Mathematics has been unbundled into three departments.
Dr. Armayau Umar Zango has been appointed Ag. HOD, Software and Cyber Security, Dr. Mansur Abubakar, Ag. HOD, Computer Science and Information Technology and Ismail Muhammad Isa, Ag. HOD, Mathematics and Statistics. The appointments will last for two years.
Dr. Ismail Lawal Mara, Deputy Dean, Students Affairs, has been elevated as Ag. Dean, for a period of two years with effect from February 23rd, 2022.
Prof. Yauri congratulated the appointees, advising them to hold monthly departmental meeting and to ensure that they nurture their separate departments to higher level. He prayed to Allah to assist them in shouldering the responsibilities of their new offices diligently.
