On Thursday 2nd December 2021, Officials of Auk Press visit Katsina State Television (KTTV). The visit was Led by the Deputy Chairman 1 of Auk Press Muhammad Jibril Babaali.
The visit is to acquire skills and knowledge of different department in the station. The officials where given 30minutes lecture on how journalist operate by Ahmad Tukur who is a reporter in the station.
The officials learned about the different departments they have in KTTV, Fomart of presenting news, elements of reporting a news, how news is been sourced, writing and reading and more.
They were able to visit places in the station such as the Operational Area , Editorial room, Sever room and the studio. The were trained on how to use the tools and equipment used in the station as practicals.
At last, the Director of News KTTV asked the officials question on what they have learned so far. With full confidence, they where able to answer to the questions.
The Management of KTTV where happy to welcome a Campus journalists AUK PRESS to their station and the officials were excited to visit KTTV and hope to implement what they have learned from the Visit.
The Officials Safely left the University using the school bus by exactly 10:30am and returned safely around 2:00pm.
