*Al* - *Qalam* *University* *Receives* *NUC* *Accreditation* *Panels*
Two accreditation Panels from the National Universities Commission (NUC) arrived Al-Qalam University, Friday 9th April, 2021.
First to be received by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shehu G. Ado was the Panel to accredit B. A. English Programme headed by Prof. A'isha Iya Ahmad of the University of Maiduguri.
Other members of the Panel are Prof. Opoola B. Tajudeen, Prof. Ngozi Chuma Odeh and Manifah Galadanchi.
Prof. A'isha solicited for co-operation of Management in facilitating the accreditation exercise and assured that the Panel would be fair and just in assessing the B. A. English programme.
The Vice-Chancellor also received four - member accreditation Panel for B. A. Islamic Studies headed by Prof. Ahmad Moyi Gada.
In his remarks, Prof. Ahmad Gada said the objective of the accreditation exercise is to ensure that quality of the programme is maintained.
Other members of the Panel are Prof. Badman O. Yusuf, Prof. Jibril Hamman Yola and A. M. Girei.
