The Governing Council AUK PRESS as the only reliable campus news outlet, has accepted the request from an Electronic Media Organization for a partnership in an online advocacy on _Violence against persons prohibition act (VAPP)._ in the 36 states of Nigeria.

AUK Press was found worthy for the collaboration in the fight against Gender Based Violence, by the media organization known as *DPH News*.

The advocacy is going to hold from 20th to 24th April 2020 on all the social media platforms of AUK Press making use of the hashtag *#NIGERIA4VAPPAct*. This is in a bid to jointly support the Electronic Media Organization to remind the State Governments to domesticate the VAPP Act.
