*NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF NIGERIAN ECONOMICS' STUDENTS ASSOCIATION VISITS KATSINA*
For the First time in History, A National President of the entire Economics students in the 6 Geo-political zones in Nigeria, Comr. Ibrahim Baizage Has visited our proud state and school Alqalam University, this was the presidents first visit to Katsina state, The National president embarked on the journey to katsina on Monday, the 10th June 2019 and was received by NESA AUK President, Comr. Usman Mukhtar and the North-West Zonal Coordinator, Comr. Musa Isaq. The National president made this Journey to meet with one of Katsina's prominent member Alh. A.A Bush, a succefully reenouned entrepreneur on discussions regarding the NESA CARE FOUNDATION, a recently initiated venture by the National body becoming the first and pioneer student based foundation that had its first successful event in ABU zaria few weeks ago donating food and Utilities to Orphanage, home of Disabled, hosting an iftar event for the orphans and also donating blood and drugs to Hospitals, where NESA AUK were also in attendance and was one of the only chapters that contributed to the cause, donating Food Items including(tiers of Rice,Beans,Sugar, palm oil,...etc).
NESA AUK also decided to take upon the mantle on hosting the next NESA CARE event here in Katsina, in Honour of the FOUNDATION within its soon coming NESA WEEK to help expand the foundation and also encourage other chapters to do the same, the idea was highly welcomed and appreciated by the National President which was discussed on his visit to Katsina.
The meeting with Alh A.A.Bush took place in the evening of Tuesday 11th June 2019 at his Petroleum Station near Alqalam, which was by far a success as he welcomed the National President with open arms. others in attendance at the meeting where NESA AUK Presidnet, North West Zonal Cordinator, AUK Economics students(Hussaini Mubarak matazu, Mahmoud Fadima Jere, Hauwa Ibrahim yahaya) also with other students from ABU and UMYU, which lasted for about an hour, where important issues and Ideas were brought up.
The National president initially planned to spend one day in the state but due to the warm welcome, hospitality and culture that he met, he Decided to spend another day in our proud state so as to further explore the environment and culture of Katsina state, vacating katsina in the early morning of wednesday 20th June 2019. He expressed his deepest appreciation for the warm welcome and high hospitality that he met from his hosts with also the experience. he gathered in the state being by far better than what he expected.
