*SOKOTO STATE PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT SPEAKS OUT SAYS "THEIR ASSOCIATION IS THE MOST BACKWARD''*
Auk media news recently had an interactive session with a student known as Imran bala from sokoto state who is the senior special adviser media and publicity to *BIOSSAN* president.
In the interactive session he told Auk Media News that he had a show of interest to contest for the presidency of sokoto state students association and his reasons were that the association was one of the backward association in the university, it has no signboard and the president who has been in power for the past three years hasn't done anything to bring growth and development to the association.
He also said that the association has never conducted any election and that the association only nominated excos without consultations.
*Host:* Since you have stated all this how do you plan to bring the desired development that the past president wasn't able to initiate
*Imran:* For organization to continue operation, new members must come in and take over the roles of the outgoing students. There are several traits that are seen as important to being able to lead effectively, and it is very true that there are “natural” leaders, or those who possess those traits naturally, as part of their personality,however this is not true for most people. Therefore, in order for the club to ensure survival, it is often necessary for the group to actively work at preparing new leaders for the tasks involved in taking over the organization. One solution in achieving this are events specifically designed to help bring these traits out in those who otherwise wouldn’t have displayed them in order to prepare them for their future leadership roles.
