Muhammadu Sanusi II Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Directorate is responsible for providing cross-cutting support of computing and information technology services to the University. Its mandate is to ensure that the University has the technology, infrastructure, and services it needs to fulfill its mission. Having housed in a multi-million naira centre named after His Highness Muhammad Sanusi II, the directorate is business-focused and enabler for the growth of the University.
Vision
The vision of Al-Qalam University Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Directorate is to boast of highly professional staff and supporting infrastructure capable of managing Al-Qalam University’s operations efficiently and also to render knowledge-based consultancy services to sister institutions and the business world.
Objectives
- To make available all information related to staff and students readily available for internal and external consumption;
- To have state-of-the-arts Information Technology (IT) infrastructure to offer reliable support to all the departments and units of the University;
- To have solid IT human-resources capable of rendering support services both internal to the University and as external;
- To serve as one of the revenue generations hubs of the University.
