*Al - Qalam Varsity Scales NUC Accreditation Exercise*
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released results of the accreditation of nine academic programmes at Al-Qalam University, Katsina conducted in October/November, 2019.
The results showed impressive performance by the university as all the nine undergraduate programmes obtained Full accreditation status.
The letter conveying the final results of the accreditation exercise dated 19th March, 2020, was signed by Dr. Maryam Sali, Director of Accreditation, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Prof. Abubakar Rasheed.
Five programmes were accredited in the College of Education; BSc.(Ed) Biology, BSc.(Ed) Chemistry, BSc.(Ed) Islamic Studies, BSc.(Ed) Mathematics and BSc.(Ed) Physics.
In the College of Natural & Applied Sciences, three programmes were accredited; BSc. Biology, BSc. Chemistry and BSc. Physics while under the College of Humanities, B.A. Hausa.
