*Al-Qalam University Bags 1st Position Award In A North-West Regional Conference Held At UDUS*

It is a celebration as Students of Political Science Department, Al-Qalam University Katsina emerged overall best in Essay Writing and Debate Competitions at Usman Danfodio University Sokoto on Tuesday 3rd March, 2020.

Eight Universities participated in the *2019/2020* North-West regional competitions of the National Association of Political Science Students.

Al-Qalam University Katsina emerged overall best in each of the two categories of the competition.

The universities which participated in the competition were Usman Danfodio University Sokoto, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State University, Federal University Birnin-Kebbi, Federal University Dutse, Sokoto State University and Federal University Gusau.
