*NESA Auk chapter organizes program which saw four universities in attendance*
Nesa Auk chapter under the leadership of Comrade *Usman shehu mukhtar* stunned the varsity on friday 30th of August 2019 with the first ever northwest inter-varsity debate and paper presentation, the program saw four universities in attendance, the prestigious Ahmadu bello university zaria, Yusuf Maitama Sule university kano, federal university dutsinma and Ummaru musa yar'adua university katsina.
The event was a collective work between Nesa auk chapter, the northwest zonal coordinator *musa ishaq musa* , hardworking students of the department of economics and some pioneer minds in the department of economics like Abubakar Abdulwahab also known as *Kalmanga* and *Aniyyah musa bawa* . This duo participated in the debate competition which saw the university emerging second with Maitama Sule University kano claiming the first position.
Notable guests in attendance was Dr. *Abdulsalam* from UMYUK, Economics department examination officer *Mallam Shan'una lawal,* level 400 economics coordinator Mallam *Ibrahim mashi* , the overall president of the Nigerian Economics students (NESA) National body *Ibrahim Baizegi,* the NESA national body pro 2 *Umar Abubakar Talba* and also some invited dignataries were in attendance.
Presidents of different associations were also not left out from the event as the president of kano state *Alfa Muhammad* , NAMCOSS president *Mahuta* , Senate president of political science *Shafiu lawal* among others were seen gracing the occasion.
