*NESA National Body sends application letter request to the Dean students affairs and patron of NESA Auk local chapter to look into the suspension of NESA auk chapter*
In a letter written by the Nigerian Economics students association (NESA) National Body Pro 2 to the Dean students affairs division Alqalam university Katsina *Dr. Muslim* and also to the patron of the association NESA Auk local chapter *Mallam Shan'una* .
NESA national body requested that the suspension of the association which was one year ago should be lifted so as to enable the students of the department of economics Alqalam university Katsina to contest for various posts in the association.
This he said can only be done through nomination of an electoral committee which shall oversee the organizing and conducting of the second general credible free and fair elections to take place in the department before the commencement of the Second semester examinations.
This in turn will uplift the status of the association and it's recognition at the national level as a democratically elected local chapter.
NESA national body also cited in the letter that the constitution governing the affairs of all NESA local chapter calls for elections and does not recognize a care taker committee not chosen by the students and hence request for immediate action so that an election will be held to usher in new elected excos of the department.
