*NAPSS PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE TO THE STUDENTS OF POLITICAL SCIENCE, FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS*
Assalam Alaykum, My fellow partners of progress, the students of the amiable, the unforgettable, irrefutable and unconquerable Institution, Alqalam University Katsina, most humbled and humanitarian greetings to you. All gratitude goes to the Almighty ALLAH(S.W.A) for sparing our lives, the gift of good health and vigour to see the beginning of this year and this academic session, 365 new days and new opportunities to strive harder. Our gratitude also is extended to our loving and dignified parents and guardians for the support, encouragement and cooperation they've given us. With most humble respect, i'd also like to welcome our new students and wish them success throughout there educational period. Fellow returning students, up until this point, each minute we’ve spent together has been marvelous and will remain indelible in the history of our lives even long after we ourselves are personally and utterly forgotten. In any case, I guarantee you, that the best is yet to come. Its evident that moments like this usually provide a vantage position for reflection and in doing so, taking cognisance of factors that facilitated successes recorded and grey academic areas that need remedying, improvement and enhanced performance so that the new resolves could be made to cope with our prosperous future. Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities: distinguishes the strong soul from the weak. There can be no failure to a man who has not lost his courage, his character, his self-respect or self confidence. As new year clocks in, we begin this new session.
May ALLAH(S.W.A) reign his infinite mercy and blessing upon us all, may success be ours, may we have patience to endure the exigencies of learning and the tests of time.
WE THANK ALLAH(S.W.A) for making 2018 a fruitful year for us.
